Job Description:
The Cequens Architecture team is responsible for the architecture of Cequens’s platform. The Software Architect will be a core member of the team focusing on designing systems and services that solve problems across the overall engineering function. The Software Architect will be responsible for building highly scalable and fault tolerant solutions to complex distributed systems problems.
Responsibilities
Understand company needs to define system specifications
Working closely with Product owner to validate business requirements and address any technical challenges
Communicate system requirements to software development teams
Develop architecture documentation for technical solutions
Evaluate and select appropriate software or hardware and suggest integration methods
Oversee assigned programs (e.g. conduct code review) and provide guidance to team members
Assist with solving technical problems when they arise
Ensure the implementation of agreed architecture and infrastructure
Address technical concerns, ideas and suggestions
Monitor systems to ensure they meet both user needs and business goals
Requirements
Requirements & Skills
9+ years of software architecture experience
4+ years of cloud experience (AWS).
Hands-on experience with at least one programming language (Nodejs, Python, C#).
Design, build & maintain large scale high performing application on AWS
Experience with designing and implementing cloud-native workloads.
Strong knowledge of Microservices architecture pattern
Broad technology experience across several of these areas including cloud architecture, applications development, relational databases, NoSQL databases, cloud networking (such VPC, security groups), security, storage, DevOps, Containers, serverless, CI/CD, management and monitoring.
High attention to details
Experience with documentation tools such Draw.io
