Qualification / Experience
16 Years BE/BS in IS / Computer Science or Equivalent from HEC recognized University.
Masters and Bachelor’s both in IS / Computers Science or Equivalent from HEC recognized University.
3-5 Years experience in relevant field
Knowledge/ Skills/Abilities
Knowledge of layered security architecture.
Experience with SOC Tools & Techniques.
Strong Concepts of Cyber Security Processes and Control Procedures
Penetration testing and ethical hacking testing and preventive measures against attacks.
Key Responsibilities
Designing end to end layered security architecture of ICT. Responsible for designing, documenting and deploying effective procedures to provide operational support for NUST security framework in anticipation of knowledge transfer to the operations team. Conducting security assessments through vulnerability testing and risk analysis. Performing both internal and external security audits. Analyzing security breaches to identify the root cause.
Continuously updating the company’s incident response and disaster recovery plans.
Verifying the security of third-party vendors and collaborating with them to meet security requirements.

Candidates may be considered ineligible for the post due to any of the following reasons:
3rd Div in academic career / weak academic profile.
NUST employees with less than two years’ service with NUST and / or absence of NOC from Head of Institution.
In process of pursuing a required degree.
Medically unfit.
Only selected candidates will be contacted and issued offer letter.
