Job Summary

This role will facilitate sales planning process in the areas of Sales Marketing and Operations.

The position is responsible to analyze marketing, and sales data of a company to effectively estimate future product demands.

Major Responsibilities

Analyze demand trends & changes and develop consensus-based forecast at SKU level on monthly basis. Forecast to be developed with trending/ statistical techniques, coordinating inputs from sales and marketing teams and alignment with long-term financial plan.
Highlight and track Affiliate’s actual sales vs forecast plan (KPIs)
Perform analysis on Demand and Financial Forecast systems
Ensure timely & accurate reporting into Abbott system as per requirement and maintain appropriate planning
Anticipate, review and raise Supply Change Request within stipulated timelines
Perform risks analysis for managing orders in an efficient and effective manner
Work closely with Operation colleagues and understand key supply drivers impacting the Forecast
Review and advise Affiliate /Distributors for inventory levels and highlight areas for improving stock levels
Support audit activities as requested

Education/Knowledge & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree – BBA/BS in Business, Finance, or Supply Chain
Minimum of 4 – 6 years’ experience in a demand planning and/ or supply chain role with in depth understanding of supply chain operations (demand/supply planning process, logistics knowledge)
Excellent Excel & PowerPoint and Database skills
Experience in healthcare industry preferred
Experience with SAP software a plus
Good team player
Leadership skills
