Job Description:

We are seeking candidates for multiple positions in Procurement function to support our operations in Pakistan.

PROCUREMENT MANAGER

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop an effective procurement plan. Monitor implementation and compliance to ensure consistent application.

• Drive savings and efficiencies through implementation and monitoring of policies, plans and procedures.

• Educate line staff on their responsibilities in relation to procurement as well as strategies to achieve optimal outcomes from procurement processes through skilled specification and sourcing strategies.

• Provide advisory service to all levels of management on commercial contracts.

• Negotiate contracts, for implementation across the business, to achieve best terms and pricing.

• Work closely with relevant senior management staff to ensure consistency and adherence within all business units to all procurement policies and arrangements.

• Monitor local purchase orders (LPOs) for compliance and to identify opportunities for common savings / suppliers.

• Review and report on purchasing in the business. Make recommendations to improve processes and optimise outcomes for the organisation.

• Resolve supply issues with key service providers and suppliers.

• Play a key role in developing strategies, programmes, policies and procedures for procurement.

• Regularly consult with the Senior Managers on procurement issues and developments.

• Work closely with the commercial department to ensure compliant and effective contract development and to liaise on contractual issues.

• Work with suppliers and contractors to advise and negotiate.

• Work with the IT department to ensure IT requirements are sourced efficiently.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelors degree in business administration, commercial or relevant qualification.

• Minimum 10 years experience in procurement with 4-5 years of managerial experience.

• Knowledge of JD Edwards.

• Good understanding of procurement requirements relating to operational activities.

• Strong budget and financial analysis skills.

• Diplomatic consultation skills and robust negotiation skills.

• Good commercial awareness.

• Good level of interpersonal and communication skills. Collaborative style. Fosters and develops beneficial partnerships.

• Provide high level of customer service to both internal and external customers. Prompt response to all queries.

• Excellent time management skills and able work to strict deadlines. High level of self motivation and able to work with minimal supervision.

• Fluent English language ability both spoken and written.

ASSISTANT MANAGER – PROCUREMENT

Key Responsibilities:

• Sourcing and procurement of materials, supplies, and services from vendors at the best value for the organization.

• Preparing and reviewing purchase orders, contracts, and other procurement documents.

• Negotiating with suppliers to obtain the best possible price and terms of payment for the organization.

• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

• Developing and implementing procurement policies and procedures in line with organizational goals and objectives.

• Coordinating with other departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and services.

• Identifying and resolving issues related to procurement, including vendor performance and quality issues.

• Supervising and providing guidance to the procurement team, including training, coaching, and performance management.

• Analyzing and reporting on procurement data to inform decision-making and strategy development.

• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in procurement.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelors degree in business administration, supply chain or relevant qualification.

• Minimum 5 years experience in procurement with 1-2 years of managerial experience.

• Knowledge of JD Edwards.

• Good understanding of procurement requirements relating to operational activities.

• Strong budget and financial analysis skills.

• Diplomatic consultation skills and robust negotiation skills.

• Good commercial awareness.

• Good level of interpersonal and communication skills. Collaborative style. Fosters and develops beneficial partnerships.

SENIOR EXECUTIVE – PROCUREMENT

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive savings and efficiencies through the monitoring of policies, plans and procedures

• Negotiate contracts, for implementation across the business, to achieve best terms and pricing

• Increase the number of new suppliers to the EFS database

• Build long-term relationships with new and existing suppliers and service providers to ensure good service

• Work closely with relevant departments to ensure consistency and adherence within all business units to all procurement policies and arrangements

• Monitor local purchase orders (LPOs) for compliance and to identify opportunities for common savings / suppliers

• Resolve supply issues with key service providers and suppliers

• Regularly consult with the Assistant Managers on procurement issues and developments

• Work with suppliers and contractors to advise and negotiate

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelors degree in business administration, supply chain or relevant qualification.

• Minimum 1-3 years experience in procurement.

• Knowledge of JD Edwards.

• Good understanding of procurement requirements relating to operational activities.

• Strong budget and financial analysis skills.

• Diplomatic consultation skills and robust negotiation skills.

• Good commercial awareness.

• Good level of interpersonal and communication skills. Collaborative style. Fosters and develops beneficial partnerships.

• Provide high level of customer service to both internal and external customers. Prompt response to all queries.
