Position: Procurement Manager
Job Summary:
An ideal candidate will be able to move beyond applying standard templates for solving problems, challenge the status quo and support the team with creative, innovative ideas that are translated into actionable insights for the business.
Job Responsibilities:
Review sales history, seasonality, and recent trends to develop item-level forecasts and units needs that align with category financial targets and in stock rate goals
Partner with buying and planning to align SKU level needs with top level category forecasts
Optimise ordering cadence with vendors to achieve inventory goals
Manage assortments for replenishment in partnership with planning, buying, and vendors, to increase sales and inventory productivity at the SKU level
Develop exit recommendations with merchandise planning and buying teams to maximise margin.
Manage replenishment reporting, driving a high standard for analytical excellence.
Envision the future and facilitate building it, focusing on automation of replenishment and assortment tools.
Job Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred, MBA Supply Chain
Experience designing and building new processes
Advanced knowledge and use of forecasting tools (e.g. Cognos)
Proven track record of achieving financial objectives
Proven strong analytical acumen to identify and resolve business performance issues specifically in forecasting and planning models, and strong technical and operational experience
Online Retail experience
Hands-on or entrepreneurial attitude
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
