About The Role
The Investigation Expert is placed in HCD function of Telenor Pakistan and reports directly to CHRO. This role requires good command over Investigation methodology and deep understanding of core business processes. Investigation Expect is expected to conduct thorough and professional fact-finding of Category 3 Compliance Incidents as categorized and allocated by the Group Internal Audit and Investigations (GIAI) function. The ideal candidate is required to write and deliver quality fact-finding reports that supports the development of appropriate responses to compliance breaches.
Your Impactful Goals Will Include
Investigations Expert is assigned with a wide range of fact-finding work including complex, sensitive investigations related to potential internal breaches of Code of Conduct. Each fact-finding is expected to be concluded in a limited time frame and in accordance with Telenor’s Governing documents and Investigation Methodology. The Investigation expert is expected to produce clear, precise and professional fact-finding reports. The main recipients of his/her reports are members of Compliance Team. The reports are also presented and discussed with the members of Compliance Committee. The role requires excellent stakeholder management.
How will your typical day look like?
On Day To Day Basis You Will Be Doing Some Or Most Of These
The following activities will be your core responsibility.
Conducting fact-finding of potential COC breaches according to Telenor’s governing documents and Investigation methodology.
Doing research work and analyzing data associated with the case work.
Reading policies, processes and relevant documentation to develop thorough understanding
Interviewing relevant personnel.
Coordinating with stakeholders in GIAI, E&C, Risk, Legal and other related departments for ongoing casework.
Maintaining end to end record of case work in case management system.
Writing precise and clear fact-finding reports.
Coordinating with E&C function.
Briefing (regularly) your line on ongoing cases.

What We Are Looking for?
Education: University Degree in Business Administration, Law or any other field.
Preferred Qualifications: Certified Fraud Examiner is preferred
Work Experience
Minimum 5-6 years of experience in Risk & Assurance, Fraud management, Internal Controls, Audit, E&C, Employee Grievance Functions or Finance.
Previous experience in handling incidents related to Fraud, COC violations and Employee Grievances.
Experience in managing stakeholders and coordinating across teams.
