ABOUT THIS JOB
The HRBP is responsible for implementing, maintaining, executing and monitoring human resources daily operational matters that best supports operations and technology business units. The individual will be responsible for performance management, including recruitment and staffing; employee standards and practices; all the HR related administrative duties and total rewards, including EOBI and payroll administration. The successful candidate should have solid HR business partnering experience for Pakistan region.
Responsibilities
As a HR Business Partner, you must be able to work as part of a team, while managing projects independently with minimal supervision and in a timely manner.
HR Strategy & Direction
Establish an annual Action Plan for the country and associated HR budget in line with Regional HR strategy and direction
Monitor the achievement of the Action Plan against HR milestones and KPI’s (e.g. Employee Satisfaction, Productivity, Employee retention)
Monitor and anticipate competitor activity, developing plans that will sustain competitive advantage for Nielsen IQ.
Take part in business reviews to provide status against defined HR targets to date and to identify proactively current and future people related issues as well as solutions/new opportunities
HR Delivery
Ensure HR operational processes and systems are meeting required standards in terms of internal business partners satisfaction, legal and Nielsen’s IQ requirements
Direct and control recruitment programmes to deliver effective and timely results utilising Regional approved processes
Implement effective market driven compensation and benefit programmes within Regional guidelines to ensure the country attracts and retains high calibre talent whilst maintaining fairness and consistency in terms of reward and recognition
Direct and co-ordinate works council/union relations for the country and direct employee communications
Leverage best demonstrated practices from HR Region/ other countries and/or Nielsen’s IQ businesses.
Ensure appropriate personnel administration processes and systems are in place, which meet the respective legal and organizational requirements
Development of organisational capability
Influence the culture and support the commitment to continued improvement, also through the effective implementation of approved talent management processes
Lead succession management within the business to identify its capability strengths and gaps and plan effectively to ensure appropriate staffing that will meet current and future needs
Drive performance management processes within own country and motivate/ inspire management to set high standards of performance and hold employees firmly accountable for meeting those standards
Implement management development initiatives and career development activities for the country within the Regional framework.
Provide coaching and support to management in own country to assist them work with their employees to achieve their performance standards
Contribute to driving world class employee satisfaction within own country through the implementation of relevant organisational initiatives that build on employee commitment
Change Management
Facilitate and support change programmes/ initiatives to achieve a client driven business to ensure maximum effectiveness, minimise the loss of key employees and maintain effective employee relations.
Provide sound HR advice and guidance to management on the implementation of change within their own departments.
Provide thorough leadership on HR matters as a member of the Country Management team.
Foster an environment of co-operation between functions within country, managing change as needed
Qualifications
At least a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or equivalent
Must possess at least 5+ years’ experience as HR with strong experience as a HRBP.
Deep knowledge of country labour law and culture
Past working experience in a matrix organizations will help to succeed in the role
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Ability to interact with all levels of the organization
Strong formal and informal leadership attributes
Good business acumen and able to work under pressure
Project management and / or process improvement skills a plus
Candidate with regional experience will be an added advantage
Experienced / knowledge in SAP will be an added advantage
Candidate can be based anywhere in Pakistan
