Qualification / Experience
B.Com / M.Com / MBA / ACMA/ACCA qualified
2-5 years’ experience in relevant field.
Key Competencies
Must have an operational understanding of accounting and finance.
Must possess knowledge of accounting software’s
Proficiency in basic excel and word.
Compliance to code of ethics.
ERP Knowledge and implication of tax laws
Proficient in MS office
Good communication skills
Presentable
Key Responsibilities
Transaction recording in ERP (Qalam / ODOO) on real time basis.
Prepare bank & other reconciliations.
Checking the accuracy of supporting documents of the financial transactions.
Preparing and posting receipts voucher in ERP system.
Assisting supervisors in preparing reports.
Supervision of house hiring and medical reimbursement cases of schools.
Management of Bank Account Files, Opening & Closing of Bank Accounts.
Liaison with banks for any documentary requirements.
Preparation and maintenance of bank documentation.
Preparation of Payment Vouchers.
Generation of reports through ERP system.
Compilation of data maintained in MS-Excel for reports.
Extracting records from stores.
Compiling Fixed Assets Schedules.
Reconciliation of assets records with G/L.
Coordinating with schools to ensure the compliance of policies.
Record maintenance of department.
Timely completion of tasks assigned.
Knowledge of applicable tax laws.

Candidates may be considered ineligible for the post due to any of the following reasons:
3rd Div in academic career / weak academic profile.
NUST employees with less than two years’ service with NUST and / or absence of NOC from Head of Institution.
In process of pursuing a required degree.
Medically unfit.
Only selected candidates will be contacted and issued offer letter.
