Job Description:
Title: Communications Specialist
Description: This role is a combination of a communications expert, copywriter, sub-editor, and English trainer. Mainly involves helping all employees with communication via Emails, LinkedIn, social media content and internal messages (Skype, Slack, etc).
Salary: Rs65,000/- to Rs75,000/- per month depending on past experience
Gender: Females only
Responsibilities:
Complete responsibility of quality of all internal and external content including emails, LinkedIn, social media, internal messaging channels (Skype, Slack, etc) and others
Proofreading all communication, internal and external, before it is sent out
Editing content to remove spelling mistakes and grammatical errors, improve sentence structure and impact of messaging
Writing material in way that it flows or reads better and adheres to a sales-first mentality
Rewriting and shortening content, as necessary, to have a sales-first approach with the target audience and word limit in mind
Write subject lines, headlines, shoulders, phrases and other content that capture the essence of the message and/or are clever or amusing to encourage open rates and desires response
Transforming templates into tight, clear, and actionable messages
Training employees on writing and speaking better
Taking mock calls to assess communication skills of employees and conducting exercises/training for their improvement
Other similar tasks assigned by the management to improve communication skills of entire organization
Requirements:
You should have a degree/diploma in Journalism, Communications or a related fields
You have solid prior experience as a writer, sub editor or journalist
You have exceptional writing skills in the English language
You are organized and with a high attention to detail
You can deliver high-quality work while meeting tight deadlines
