Responsibilities:
The Marketing and Communications Department supports the Aga Khan University Health Services entity, which is part of the Aga Khan University. The department’s scope of functions includes marketing research, strategic marketing and communications. The strategic philosophies of the Marketing and Communications Department are built on AKU’s guiding principles of Quality, Access, Impact and Relevance as well as AKU’s Global Communications strategic platform of “Voices Rising”. We hold strong to our Marketing and Communication pillars i.e. to stay focused, be timely, deliver quality and create impact in all our deliverable.
Major duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
primary and secondary market research and market intelligence
developing and implementing strategic research plans for AKUH, Pakistan;
managing data analysis and reporting;
preparing and disseminating survey sampling lists for data collection;
regular market analysis and competitor landscape;
liaising with agencies, vendors and internal stakeholders;
collecting data and going on market visits as needed;
managing a team of research assistants.
Requirements:
You should have:
a master’s Degree preferably in Business Administration, Business Analytics or related area from a recognized national or international institution.
an interest in data driven marketing, business intelligence, decision analysis and data sciences.
atleast 3 years of market research experience, including qualitative and quantitative research
excellent written and oral English and Urdu language skills
experience and proficiency in SPSS, MS Excel, BI tools and MS PowerPoint
strong mathematical and statistics skills.
