According to scientists, most people fall somewhere between the introverted and extroverted ends of the spectrum. Therefore, extroverts may also occasionally appreciate some downtime. Similarly, introverts may occasionally also participate in social activities, but perhaps not to the same extent as extroverts.
Either way, identifying whether you are more of an introvert, or an extrovert will be helpful in determining your success (think, Kamyabi). Different people will be suited to different career pathways depending on their personality traits. Careers that demand fewer social interactions such as those of an accountant, IT specialist, engineer, writer, graphic designer, and photographer, are best suited to introverts. On the other hand, roles that call for frequent interpersonal engagement and teamwork such as as teaching, sales, marketing, healthcare, counselling, acting, flight attendant, law, psychology, and planning events, are best suited to extroverts.
